SelectedLogProviders.Contains(Object) Method

Definition

Specifies whether an item can be retrieved from the SelectedLogProviders collection using indexing without throwing an exception.

public:
 bool Contains(System::Object ^ index);
public bool Contains (object index);
member this.Contains : obj -> bool
Public Function Contains (index As Object) As Boolean

Parameters

index
Object

An object containing the numeric index, name, ID, or identity of the LogProvider object in the collection.

Returns

A Boolean that indicates whether items can be retrieved using indexing. A value of true indicates that the syntax SelectedLogProviders[x] can be used without throwing an exception. A value of false indicates that indexing cannot be used to retrieve items from the SelectedLogProviders collection.

Examples

The following code example adds and removes log providers for the package, in addition to showing the use of the Contains and Item[] syntax of [0] for the collection.
