Summary and resources
Microsoft Power Apps allows users of any technical level to improve business processes by building applications to fit the needs of your business. Apps are built using your existing skills and knowledge and without writing traditional managed code.
In this module, you learned about Microsoft Power Apps and its capabilities for building custom applications without writing code. There are two types of applications that can be created: canvas apps and model-driven apps. Canvas apps provide flexibility and can connect to any data source. Model-driven apps are built on Microsoft Dataverse and allow for the customization of forms and views. You also gained the ability to build basic canvas and model-driven apps.
The main takeaways from this module are that Power Apps is a no-code/low-code platform that allows users to easily build customized apps for their business. Canvas apps are task-focused and offer flexibility and customization options. Model-driven apps, on the other hand, are process-focused, and provide a consistent user experience. By understanding the differences between these two types of apps, you can choose the most suitable option for your specific requirements.
