O exemplo a seguir demonstra o Clear método e várias outras propriedades e métodos da List<T> classe genérica. O Clear método é usado no final do programa, para remover todos os itens da lista e as Capacity propriedades e Count são exibidas.

Comentários

Count é definido como 0 e as referências a outros objetos de elementos da coleção também são liberadas.

Capacity permanece inalterado. Para redefinir a capacidade do List<T>, chame o TrimExcess método ou defina a Capacity propriedade diretamente. Diminuir a capacidade realoca a memória e copia todos os elementos no List<T>. Cortar um vazio List<T> define a capacidade do List<T> como a capacidade padrão.

Esse método é uma operação O(n), em que n é Count.
