Boolean

true para impedir que o valor do campo seja modificado no modo de edição; caso contrário, false. O padrão é false.

Comentários

Use a ReadOnly propriedade para impedir que os valores exibidos em um BoundField objeto sejam modificados. Quando um controle associado a dados está no modo de edição, os campos que são somente leitura são exibidos como texto sem formatação, sem controles de edição.

Observação

A ReadOnly propriedade se aplica somente ao modo de edição. Para impedir que os campos sejam exibidos no modo de inserção, use a InsertVisible propriedade.
