Comentários
Quando o FormView controle estiver no modo de edição, use o UpdateItem método para atualizar programaticamente o registro atual na fonte de dados. Esse método geralmente é usado quando você precisa atualizar o registro atual de fora do FormView controle, como de um controle diferente na página.
Observação
O FormView controle deve estar no modo de edição quando esse método é chamado; caso contrário, um HttpException é gerado.
Para especificar se a validação de página é executada antes da operação de atualização, use o causesValidation parâmetro . Chamar esse método também gera os ItemUpdated eventos e ItemUpdating .
