Altera o número de elementos de uma matriz unidimensional para o novo tamanho especificado.

array
T[]

A matriz unidimensional baseada em zero a ser redimensionada, ou null para criar uma nova matriz com o tamanho especificado.

newSize
Int32

O tamanho da nova matriz.

Exceções

newSize é menor que zero.

Comentários

Esse método aloca uma nova matriz com o tamanho especificado, copia elementos da matriz antiga para a nova e, em seguida, substitui a matriz antiga pela nova. array deve ser uma matriz unidimensional.

Se array for null, esse método cria uma nova matriz com o tamanho especificado.

Se newSize for maior que a Length matriz antiga, uma nova matriz será alocada e todos os elementos serão copiados da matriz antiga para a nova. Se newSize for menor que a Length matriz antiga, uma nova matriz será alocada e os elementos serão copiados da matriz antiga para a nova até que a nova seja preenchida; o restante dos elementos na matriz antiga será ignorado. Se newSize for igual ao Length da matriz antiga, esse método não faz nada.

Este método é uma operação O(n), em que n é newSize.

O Resize método redimensiona apenas uma matriz unidimensional. A Array classe não inclui um método para redimensionar matrizes multidimensionais. Para fazer isso, você deve fornecer seu próprio código ou chamar um método de finalidade especial em uma biblioteca de terceiros. O código a seguir ilustra uma implementação possível para um método que redimensiona uma matriz de n dimensões.
