Line Control

Creates a control that displays a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line.

Line

Remarks

A Line control is a graphical control that displays a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line that can't be changed directly. However, because a Line control has a full set of properties, events, and methods that other controls have, the Line control can respond to events and can be changed dynamically at run time.

For additional information about creating lines, see the Form Designer topic and Using Controls.

Example

The following example demonstrates how a Line control can be added to a form and how you can use the LineSlant property to specify the direction in which the line slants.

The AddObject method is used to add a Line control to a form. Three command buttons are added to the form, allowing you to change the direction in which the line slants or to close the form.
