ToolStripItem.OnParentRightToLeftChanged(EventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the RightToLeftChanged event.

protected public:
 virtual void OnParentRightToLeftChanged(EventArgs ^ e);
protected internal virtual void OnParentRightToLeftChanged (EventArgs e);
abstract member OnParentRightToLeftChanged : EventArgs -> unit
override this.OnParentRightToLeftChanged : EventArgs -> unit
Protected Friend Overridable Sub OnParentRightToLeftChanged (e As EventArgs)

Parameters

e
EventArgs

An EventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnParentRightToLeftChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnParentRightToLeftChanged(EventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnParentRightToLeftChanged(EventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
