The validated XML element or attribute's value as a DateTime.

Exceptions

FormatException

The validated XML element or attribute's value is not in the correct format for the DateTime type.

InvalidCastException

The attempted cast to DateTime is not valid.

Remarks

The ValueAsDateTime property attempts to convert the value of the validated XML element or attribute to the .NET DateTime type according to the XPath 2.0 rules for casting the item's type.
