LinqDataSourceView.OnDeleted(LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the Deleted event.

protected:
 virtual void OnDeleted(System::Web::UI::WebControls::LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnDeleted (System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs e);
abstract member OnDeleted : System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnDeleted : System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnDeleted (e As LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs)

Parameters

e
LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs

The event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnDeleted method also enables derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When you override the OnDeleted(LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs) method in a derived class, make sure that you call the OnDeleted(LinqDataSourceStatusEventArgs) method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
