Our expanded set of emission factors includes Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra). Defra emission factors are used by UK and international organizations for reporting greenhouse gas emissions, which helps your organization to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Feature details

You can import factor sets from the Greenhouse gas reporting: conversion factors 2022 for reporting greenhouse gas emissions. This feature is automatically enabled when the release is available.

The Defra factor sets available in Microsoft Sustainability Manager include:
