The AlertSeverity element can have one of the values described in the following table.

The alert occurred because of an error. |
Information |
The alert contains information about the system. |
MatchMonitorHealth |
The alert severity will match the health state of the monitor that the alert is associated with. |
Warning |
The alert contains a warning. |
If the AlertSeverity element is not specified, the value defaults to MatchMonitorHealth.
