Protected Overridable Function IsValidDataSource (component As IComponent) As Boolean
Parameters
- component
- IComponent
The component to check as a valid data source.

Remarks
The GetStandardValues method uses the IsValidDataSource method to determine the components that are available as standard accessible data sources. For the DataSourceConverter class, a valid data source is a component that implements the IEnumerable or IListSource interface.
Notes to Inheritors
Custom data source converters can derive from the DataSourceConverter class, and override the IsValidDataSource(IComponent) method, to test for the interface implementations that are required to use a component as a data source.
