Examples

The following code example demonstrates how to declaratively specify the ColumnSpan of a TableCell control. In particular, note how the last row's single cell spans three columns. For a complete, working code example, see the TableHeaderCell class overview topic.

<asp:TableCell AssociatedHeaderCellID="Column1Header Column2Header Column3Header"
ColumnSpan="3"
HorizontalAlign="Left">(2,0)
</asp:TableCell>
<asp:TableCell AssociatedHeaderCellID="Column1Header Column2Header Column3Header"
ColumnSpan="3"
HorizontalAlign="Left">(2,0)
</asp:TableCell>

Remarks

Use the ColumnSpan property to specify or determine the number of columns in the rendered table that the cell spans. For example, if you set this property to 2, the cell takes up two columns in the Table control.
