Control.OnChangeUICues(UICuesEventArgs) Method

Definition

Raises the ChangeUICues event.

protected:
 virtual void OnChangeUICues(System::Windows::Forms::UICuesEventArgs ^ e);
protected virtual void OnChangeUICues (System.Windows.Forms.UICuesEventArgs e);
abstract member OnChangeUICues : System.Windows.Forms.UICuesEventArgs -> unit
override this.OnChangeUICues : System.Windows.Forms.UICuesEventArgs -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub OnChangeUICues (e As UICuesEventArgs)

Parameters

e
UICuesEventArgs

A UICuesEventArgs that contains the event data.

Remarks

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Handling and Raising Events.

The OnChangeUICues method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors

When overriding OnChangeUICues(UICuesEventArgs) in a derived class, be sure to call the base class's OnChangeUICues(UICuesEventArgs) method so that registered delegates receive the event.
