只有当该 DistributorNetwork 属性被设置为非 DefaultNetwork的值时才需要该性质。

当你配置控制以连接分发器而无需使用SQL Server 配置管理器时，这个属性非常有用。

例如，如果分发器是通过互联网访问的 DistributorNetwork ，可以设置为 TcpIPSockets 和 DistributorAddress 可以设置为特定的IP地址。

如果属性 DistributorNetwork 是 TcpIPSockets 或 Multiprotocol 通过TCP/IP使用，则该值以“IP地址、套接字”的形式出现（例如“111.11.11.11,1433”）。
