Protected Overridable Function LoadPostData (postDataKey As String, postCollection As NameValueCollection) As Boolean
Parameters
- postDataKey
- String
The key identifier for the control.
- postCollection
- NameValueCollection
The collection of all incoming name values.
Returns
This method always returns false
.
Remarks
The HtmlInputFile control implements the IPostBackDataHandler interface, which has two methods: IPostBackDataHandler.LoadPostData and IPostBackDataHandler.RaisePostDataChangedEvent. The LoadPostData method is called by the IPostBackDataHandler.RaisePostDataChangedEvent method and always returns false
, indicating that the HtmlInputFile control's state is not managed by the ASP.NET page framework.
The LoadPostData method is used primarily by control developers extending the functionality of the HtmlInputFile control.
