Kindly take note that any purchase/s that was on the account that was compromised is tied to it and therefore it cannot be transferred to another account.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. To add to the above, were you able to gain back access to your account or you made a new account and linked your other email to it?

If the account was phished and then recovered but purchases are missing, the key is to recover the original Microsoft account that actually owns the games. Purchases cannot be moved to a different account; they stay with the account they were bought on.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Confirm which Microsoft account owns the games
If a different email (old or new) was used during recovery, the current sign-in might be a new account with no purchase history. Use the guidance to check which products or services are tied to each Microsoft account and verify which email was used for the original purchases.
    2. Recover the hacked/compromised Microsoft account
If the original account was hacked, use the official hacked-account recovery flow:
      • Go through the steps in How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account to secure the original account (scan devices for malware, then change/reset the password, and review account settings).
      • If sign‑in fails because security info was changed, follow the built‑in recovery process as described in that article. If the automated recovery fails, there is no alternate manual override for consumer accounts.
    3. Use the Microsoft account recovery form if locked out
If the original account cannot be accessed, use the Microsoft account recovery form (ACSR) and provide as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, devices, purchase details, etc.) as described in Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
Only successful recovery of the original account will restore access to the purchased games.
    4. If recovery fails
If the recovery form and hacked‑account process both fail, support agents cannot move or re‑grant purchases to a different account. In similar cases (e.g., Minecraft/Xbox purchases on a compromised account), the only official path is the automated recovery. For Minecraft‑specific purchases, contacting Minecraft Support separately may help with game‑account access, but it will still depend on proving ownership of the original Microsoft account.

In summary, to get the old purchased game back, the original Microsoft account that owns the license must be recovered using the hacked‑account and account‑recovery processes. A new or different email/account will not show the old purchase history.
