Hi Carl, I had fixed the issue myself from running minecraft in the regular minecraft launcher which somehow made it work on the client side.
How to gain access to my Minecraft Account
Changed the security info towards a different email and now when i sign in to minecraft through a client it says i havent purchased the game. This has only occurred now that the 30 day period waiting period of the change has ended. I had a different Minecraft account already using that other email which only has bedrock in it and when i try signing into that account it doesn't sign me in at all. Also when i log on using my old email that ive always used, it shows my minecraft username but later then says that "No Multiplayer Access, this Microsoft Account has not purchased Minecraft"

2026-03-05T07:45:30.4533333+00:00 Hello Sergio Ayala,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
Before we proceed, I'd like to ask a few questions to better understanding the situation.
- May I know when and where did you buy Minecraft on the current account. And may I know if you have played the game on PC before?
- May I have a photo of all issues to check for you? Please remember to remove all personal information before posting.
In the meantime, please try to few quick fixes to see if it helps.
- Type "Credentials manager" in the search bar and press Enter.
- Find and remove all entries related to the Xbox app, Microsoft Store, the affected account and Minecraft Launcher.
- Restart your PC and try again.

Q&A Assist2026-02-26T15:11:13.0866667+00:00 AI generated content. This question contains an answer created with AI from Q&A Assist. Learn moreMinecraft ownership and multiplayer access are tied to the exact Microsoft account (identity) that owns the license, not just to an email address or gamertag. After changing security info and going through the 30‑day period, there are two common issues that match this behavior:
- Signing in with the wrong Microsoft account (or an alias that is no longer the primary sign‑in)
- The original owning account being lost/compromised or no longer accessible
Use these steps to isolate the correct account and then recover it if needed:
- Confirm which email addresses are actual Microsoft accounts
- Go to https://account.microsoft.com and enter each email you have used (old email, new email, and the one tied to the other Minecraft account).
- If the page shows a password prompt, that address is a Microsoft account.
- If it shows messages like “We couldn't find an account with that username” or “That Microsoft account doesn't exist,” that email is not an active Microsoft account.
- This helps identify which identity actually exists and can own the Minecraft license.
- Check for security‑info change lock or pending state
- If, when signing in, messages like “Your security info change is still pending” or “You can't access this site right now” appear, the account is in the 30‑day restricted state after all security info was replaced.
- During this period, sensitive changes (password, aliases, some account‑management actions) are blocked until the 30 days complete or the request is cancelled.
- If two‑factor verification was enabled, access to more features is restricted until the period ends.
- Recover the Microsoft account that actually owns Minecraft
- If the account that originally owned Java/Bedrock is now inaccessible (for example, email removed, security info changed, or sign‑in fails), use the official recovery process:
- Start with the guidance in “I can't sign in to my Microsoft account” and follow the links to the recovery form and sign‑in helper.
- Provide as much accurate information as possible (old passwords, approximate creation date, devices used, purchase history, etc.).
- If the account was hacked and the email/security info were changed by someone else, follow the hacked/compromised account guidance and complete the recovery form from a familiar device and network.
- If the account that originally owned Java/Bedrock is now inaccessible (for example, email removed, security info changed, or sign‑in fails), use the official recovery process:
- Understand what happens if recovery fails
- If the recovery form and hacked‑account process cannot restore access, support cannot manually bypass the security checks or move the Minecraft license to a different Microsoft account.
- In that case, the only remaining path for the game license itself is to contact Minecraft Support separately (as described in the Q&A reference) and ask if they can help with the Minecraft entitlement, since standard Microsoft account support cannot reassign purchases.
Once the correct Microsoft account is successfully recovered and usable, sign in to the Minecraft launcher/client with that exact account. The “No Multiplayer Access / this Microsoft Account has not purchased Minecraft” message will only clear if the launcher is using the same Microsoft identity that owns the license.
