Následující příklad kódu ukazuje použití DataItemCount vlastnosti k určení počtu položek ve zdroji dat. Tato hodnota slouží k zobrazení počtu stránek v ovládacím prvku obsaženém Label v řádku vlastního pageru.

Poznámky
Pokud je povolena funkce stránkování (nastavením AllowPaging vlastnosti na ), použijte DataItemCount vlastnost truek určení celkového počtu záznamů v podkladovém zdroji dat.
Poznámka:
DetailsView Vzhledem k tomu, že ovládací prvek zobrazuje vždy jenom jeden záznam, odpovídá tato hodnota také celkovému počtu stránek potřebných k zobrazení každého záznamu ve zdroji dat.
K určení indexu aktuálního záznamu ze souvisejícího zdroje dat použijte DataItemIndex vlastnost.
