It can take 24-48 hours for results to appear on your Microsoft Learn profile

AZ-900 exam results and certifications can take up to 24 hours to appear in the Certifications tab of the Microsoft Learn profile after the exam is completed. If the exam was taken on Saturday at 7:15 AM and more than 24 hours have passed, use the following checks and steps:

    1. Verify the correct account is being used
      • Sign in to Microsoft Learn and ensure the same Microsoft account used to register and take the AZ-900 exam is used to view the profile.
      • If multiple accounts exist (work, school, personal), sign out and try each one to see where the certification appears.
    2. Confirm the exam was passed and the certification requirements
      • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals requires passing a single exam to earn the certification. If the exam was not passed (score below 700), the certification and certificate will not appear.
      • For passed exams, results typically appear within minutes, but can take up to 24 hours to show in the Learn profile.
    3. Check the Certifications area correctly
      • Go to Microsoft Learn → Profile → Credentials → Certifications.
      • If the certification is listed, open it and use the certificate/badge options as needed.
    4. If the certification or certificate is still missing
      • Follow the guidance for missing exams or certifications:
        • Confirm the correct Learn profile and login account are being used.
        • Be aware that only Microsoft Learn-based certifications (not Certiport student/educator exams) appear here.
      • If everything is correct and the certification is still not visible, contact Microsoft Credentials Support and open a support request so they can check the certification profile and exam records.
    5. If the certificate itself is missing but the certification shows as earned
      • From the Certification Dashboard, use the “View Certificates” option to download or print the certificate.
      • If the certificate is not available there, contact Microsoft Credentials Support for assistance.
