I can’t rename an excel file in OneDrive on my iPad, says the file is still open

I create a file with excel on my iPad. I saved it to my OneDrive, and want to rename the file. I can’t rename it, because OneDrive says it is still open. excel is not even running on my iPad (and I closed all apps and rebooted).
