Backing Up Windows Hyper-V Virtual Machines

So most folks know that Hyper-V contains the capacity to allow backups of Virtual Machines while they are running.  System Center Data Protection Manager will eventually have the capability to conduct this process.  However, a straight file copy backup will not work for consistently backing up the VM's.  What will work is a Windows Server 2008 full computer backup.  It will backup the entire Hyper-V server, including VM's.  You will need a disk attached to the machine in order to facilitate the backup (i.e., a USB Hard Drive).
