I have cleared my AAZ 305 exam on April 22nd 2026 at 5:45 PM in an online mode conducted by Pearson Vue. The result is Passed. I can check my score card, but not able to get the certificate. I am in the MS learn page and i just see the exam and not the certificate link. Does it take time to generate that link or am i missing something.

Exams are not certifications. The AZ-305 exam is only part of the requirements for the Azure Solution Architect Expert certification. You must also hold an active Azure Administrator Associate certification.

Hello Julian, I already hold that Azure Administrator Associate certification, Earned on December 22, 2021. I also keep renewing this. I was also the expert certified BTW, i missed to renew it by a day and hence had to rewrite the exam. All requirements completed.

I hope it is clear now and no more confusions. Now back to my question as to where is my certificate for the recent exam

If the expert certification expired and you have retaken the exam, it can take 24-48 hours for the system to update. However, sometimes this requires manual intervention by the support team.

I did this and through engage centre. as when i clicked that link, it went there. Case is 2604260040000543. Problem is it is sev C and i need this for my organizational update

Passing exam AZ-305 only confirms the exam result; the certification and its downloadable certificate appear separately in the Learn profile once all requirements for that certification are met and the backend has synchronized.

Key points and actions:

Allow up to 24 hours for synchronization
- For most exams, results appear in the Certifications tab within 24 hours of finishing the exam.
- Exams with labs can take longer to score, but once scored, the result is passed automatically to the certification database and then to the Learn profile.
- If the certification or certificate link is missing after this window, further checks are required.
Confirm that the required certification has actually been earned
- Passing AZ-305 contributes to a specific certification (for example, a role-based Azure certification) only when all required exams for that certification are passed and active.
- Use the certification or exam details pages from the credentials catalog to verify which exams are required for the target certification and ensure that all of them are completed.
- If only the exam is passed and the full certification requirements are not yet met, a certification certificate will not appear; only the exam result/score report will be visible.
Verify the correct Learn profile and login account
- Sign in to https://learn.microsoft.com/ with the same personal Microsoft account used to schedule and take the exam.
- Go to Profile → Credentials → Certifications and check:
  - The Past exams section to confirm the AZ-305 exam is listed.
  - The Certifications section to see whether the related certification is present and whether a certificate is available.
- If there are multiple Learn profiles (personal vs. work/school), sign out and try other accounts that might have been used when registering the exam.
Access the exam score report (if only the score is needed)
- From the Learn profile, under Past exams, select View details on provider site to open the Pearson VUE dashboard.
- From there, use View under the relevant exam to see the score report.
- This confirms the exam is correctly recorded with Pearson VUE and linked to the Learn profile.
If the certification or certificate is still missing
- If:
  - More than 24 hours have passed since the exam,
  - AZ-305 and any other required exams for the target certification are passed,
  - The correct Learn account is confirmed,
  - But the certification and certificate link still do not appear,
- Then open a ticket with Microsoft Credentials Support so the certification team can check the account and credential status:
  - Go to https://aka.ms/credentialssupport
  - Sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the exam.
  - Complete the contact details, save, then reopen the same link so Product Family: Learning and Service: Microsoft Credentials are preselected.
  - Submit a support request describing that AZ-305 shows as passed and the score report is visible, but the certification certificate is missing.

If the exam was taken through Pearson VUE but under a different email or profile than the current Learn account, Credentials Support can also help investigate and, if appropriate, merge or correct the profiles.
