Outlook 365 unexpected error has occured

Hello!

When try to open outlook to set up, it gives error message: an unexpected error has occured.

Tryed every solution, but no luck.

Repair, reinstall, safe mode, new profile, nothing helps. Each time after i create new profile it crashes same as before.

Windows 11 pro, latest update, office 365 for business.

About this one, I would suggest you take steps below to narrow down it:

Try to logon your mailbox on another computer, check whether the issue is related to the account or the Outlook client.

Delete all files under the "drive:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" folder, then try to reconfigure a new profile again.

Download the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant, then follow the wizard to check about your Outlook client.

On other PC works fine

Done, didnt help

Did, Recovery assistant at end wrote, that wizzard could not resolve problem, please contact microsoft 365 administrator.

I even did full reset of pc, registered pc to work account and still the same, when trying to set up outlook, it gives same error:

Do you means reinstall Windows. If so, I would suggest you have a try before registered to work account. Check whether your computer limited by organization policy.

If there exist antivirus software on your computer, I would suggest you try to uninstall it temporarily. Check whether Outlook data limited by your antivirus software.

Yes, I tested without work account, it works now. But this problem appears only for this one account, others works fine. Nothing specific hasnt been set up for this account, event policy. I tryed other occount to set up on this pc, no problems, outlook works fine.

Yes there was antivirus, but after uninstall it, nothing changed, still got that error.

I even tryed another pc, same, as i register pc to work account, outlook gives error, revoved licence, readded, still error.

About this one, I would suggest you contact your tenant admin to check on it. If you are tenant admin, you could open a service request to let Office 365 teams to check you check on your mailbox.

Had same issue, tried absolutely everything (except reinstalling windows) but this trick with checking that UTC-something box solved the problem. Outlook up and running! Thank you.

Hi All,
FIXED!!! in my case it was a classical error - in our Azure AD we had created a user with polich characters like Michał, after renaming the user to Michal and readded the Laptop via Intune Outlook did not crash any more.
So bleep always be very careful with using special characters...

Did you change the devicename, or did you change the username/displayname?

Leave the Polish characters out of the Displayname and also first name and last name, is the fix! Thanks @Michael Frantzen

Already did, does not help

Done, dont help

Can not disable if it even does not start up!

Already tryed.

As i mentioned in the begining, i tryed every basic steps, non of them is working!!

Steps to fix Outlook 365 unexpected error-

In Outlook >choose File.

Choose Account Settings > Account Settings.

On the Email tab, choose your account (profile), and then choose Repair.

Follow the prompts in the wizard, and when you’re done, restart Outlook.

Run Windows Update to make sure you have the latest updates for Outlook and other desktop apps for Microsoft 365.

Download and run the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant.

Same issue here. Same setup as well.
Not been able to solve this one.

Microsoft seems to acknowledge the issue, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/outlook-closes-shortly-after-it-is-opened-2d32d880-70a0-4ee0-b1e9-9e920721abdd, but this registry fix does not make any difference.
