    Hi,

It could be a hardware issue or a driver failure.

If possible, please provide the laptop model or desktop configuration.

    Thanks

The Wi‑Fi adapter showing Code 10/43 and randomly disappearing indicates a driver or adapter problem. Use these steps to isolate and fix it based on Windows guidance:

    1. Run the built‑in Network troubleshooter
      1. Select Start > Settings > Network & Internet.
      2. Select Status on the left.
      3. Scroll down and select Network troubleshooter and follow the prompts.
    2. Check whether the adapter is disabled
      1. Open Device Manager.
      2. Expand Network adapters.
      3. If the Intel Wi‑Fi adapter shows as disabled, right‑click it and select Enable device.
    3. Verify and refresh the driver
      1. In Device Manager, right‑click the Intel Wi‑Fi adapter and select Properties.
      2. On the Driver tab, note the Driver Version and Driver Date.
      3. Run Windows Update and install any offered driver or quality updates.
      4. Compare the installed driver version/date with the latest version on the PC or adapter manufacturer’s website. If they differ, install the latest supported driver from the manufacturer.
    4. Completely reinstall the adapter driver If the issue started or worsened after an update, do a clean reinstall:
      1. Download the latest Wi‑Fi driver from the PC or adapter manufacturer on a working device and copy it to a USB drive (backup driver).
      2. On the affected PC, open Device Manager.
      3. Expand Network adapters, right‑click the Intel Wi‑Fi adapter, and select Uninstall device.
      4. Check Attempt to remove the driver for this device, then select Uninstall.
      5. Restart the PC (Start > Power > Restart).
      6. After restart, let Windows automatically reinstall the driver. If it does not, install the backup driver downloaded in step 1.
    5. If the adapter is not detected at all If at any point the Intel Wi‑Fi adapter disappears from Device Manager:
      1. Generate a wireless network report and check the Network Adapters section for a Problem number; this maps to a Device Manager error code that explains why the driver did not load.
      2. If the adapter still does not appear, manually install the correct driver from the device manufacturer’s site.
    6. Check Bluetooth behavior Because Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi often share the same radio, apply the same driver‑update and reinstall steps to the Bluetooth adapter in Device Manager. If both devices fail together even with correct drivers, this further points to a hardware or firmware issue on the wireless module or motherboard, in which case contacting the PC or motherboard vendor for diagnostics or replacement is recommended.
