Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

I'm sorry you're experiencing this problem. I understand how important recovering your account is to you.

Could you please check if you can sign in with your @gmail.com account online without any issues?

    1. Open an Incognito tab on any web browser
    2. Go to the link below and sign in with your Microsoft account: https://account.microsoft.com/

If you receive the same error message - "This account doesn't exist", it could be due to one of the following reasons:

    • Someone gained unauthorized access to your account and replaced the primary email address (alias).
    • Your account was deleted due to inactivity for more than 2 years.
    • You may have manually closed the account at some point.

Since you were able to access your account just three days ago, it is likely that someone gained unauthorized access and removed your email address. In this case, I recommend submitting an Account Recovery Form to the Xbox support team. Please include your Gamertag (Xbox profile name associated with your account) in the form to help verify your identity and recover your account.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Check if the email is still a Microsoft account
      1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com and enter the Gmail address.
      2. If the message "We couldn't find an account with that username" or "That Microsoft account doesn't exist" appears, either:
        • The address was never a Microsoft account, or
        • The Microsoft account has been closed.
      3. If a password prompt appears, the email is still a Microsoft account. In that case, use Forgot password? to reset the password and sign in again.
    2. Verify whether the account was closed
      • If the page says the account does not exist and spelling is correct, the Microsoft account may have been closed. See the guidance in Check if your Microsoft account is closed from the linked article.
    3. Use the Sign-in Helper if there are other sign-in issues
      • If there are problems signing in (forgotten username, password not working, or verification issues), use the Sign-in Helper tool referenced in the articles to troubleshoot and recover access.
    4. If the account truly no longer exists
      • If the account has been deleted or closed and cannot be reopened, the Microsoft account itself cannot be recovered.
      • For Minecraft purchase or game-access issues specifically, contact Minecraft Support separately (not covered in the provided context) and provide the purchase receipt and the Gmail address used.
