To whom it may concern:

I need to speak with someone about a charge that has recently appeared on my debit card. I had to close that card because of the recent transaction.

    When you see a charge on your card account - from Microsoft or any other company - for a product or service that you know you did not purchase, it can only mean that someone else has your card information and is using it to make unauthorized purchases.     Unfortunately, Microsoft discontinued inbound phone support for home users several years ago. Support is now mainly started through chat, and in some cases you may later be given the option to request a callback.
