Use an Online Repair of Office, then, if needed, reinstall Office. Since a basic repair already failed, follow these steps on Windows:

    1. Close all Office apps (Word, Excel, etc.).
    2. Open Settings (press the Windows key, select the gear icon, or use Start > Settings).
    3. Go to Apps (or System > Apps > Installed apps, depending on Windows version).
    4. Find the Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Office product in the list.
    5. Select it, then choose Modify (or Change), and when prompted choose:
      • Online Repair > Repair (this is more thorough than Quick Repair and replaces corrupted files).
    6. Let the repair complete and then try Word again.

If Word still shows errors after Online Repair:

    1. Uninstall Office from Settings > Apps > Apps & features (or Installed apps).
    2. Restart the PC (a full restart, not just shutdown).
    3. Install Office again from the Microsoft account or original source.

If the error is about a specific document (Word opens, but one file is broken), use Word’s document repair:

    1. Open Word.
    2. Select File > Open.
    3. Browse to the document, click it once to select.
    4. Use the arrow on the Open button and choose Open and Repair to let Word try to fix that file.

Did you try the Online Repair (which is a more powerful option than a Quick Repair)? See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b .

If you still see a problem, which error messages are shown? For example, does the repair itself fail (with or without a clear error message)?

Or does the repair complete and the underlying issue remains? What is the underlying issue, by the way? What prompted the repair initially?

What happens when you try to open Microsoft Word? Do you see any error message, or does it simply not open?

How did you try to repair it?

Please try the steps below for an Online Repair

Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features

    Select Microsoft 365 / Office

    Click Change

Choose Online Repair and complete the process

If the issue still persists, you may need to completely uninstall and reinstall Office using the below link: https://support.microsoft.com/office/uninstall-microsoft-365-or-office-from-a-pc-9dd49b83-264a-477a-8fcc-2fdf5dbf61d8
