@Andrew Tsybulia Similar issue I handled it, couple of days back, where you need to contact our support via one of the contacts mentioned here (you can pick Ukraine based contact) https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

This issue with phone number validation during Azure Subscription Sign up can be resolved by creating a support ticket and working with our Azure subscription team.

Create a support ticket and do share it for reference, so that I can track it internally, get this sorted for you.

    @Andrew Tsybulia

Thank you for your post and I apologize for the delayed response!

I found some related threads and potential solutions which I'll share below to hopefully help point you in the right direction, so you can verify your phone number and create an Azure subscription.

    • Note: This process is being updated however the following two workarounds may be useful

Referenced Question - Why am I seeing an error with a valid phone number when registering for an account?

    Workaround 1:

The workaround reported by Matthew Warren is to:

    1. Leave the mobile number without the leading 0 in the “broken” phone number box.
    2. Select “Use a different number to verify my identity
    3. Select a country code and enter the same mobile number without the leading 0 in the second phone number field
    4. Select “Verify”, “Text me
    5. Validate using the text received

    Workaround 2:
Reported by Nick Dewhirst, Gunjan Goswami, and others. Use the following format (note that some countries like Indonesia automatically format special characters that require different formats):

    • +44 1234567890

Put a space after the +44 and drop the 0

Alternate example where 123 is the area code and 1 is the country code:

    • +1 1234567890

    I hope this helps!
