How dificulta can this be? It really seems like an accomplishment to make a signup process so bad that over the course of more than two years (these comments and others on similar threads go back to 2023) that it is neigh implossible to sign up.

2 phone numbers from Spain and one from the Netherlands.
3 different email addresses, one of which was not yet registered with azure / Microsoft at all, the other two already with an Azure account.
I have called the both phone numbers of Microsoft Spain. Both lead to the same answering machine, which makes you shout very specific phrases at you phone because “it is cool to have voice controlled menus on phone lines, especially if they are completely unable to convert any speach to text that is preprogrammed to have an answer” (please just “press 1 for.., press 2 for..). I work with Microsoft products (dynamics and power apps) every day, and everyday Microsoft reminds me that the world is stuck together by people that don’t know what they are doing in position that they should not be in.
It is either that or Microsoft really does not want people to sign up.
I can’t wait for this to be either ignored or for someone to come along and post a none solution with a reminder to mark their none solution as the solution “because it will help other find out”…
