After consuming 16,000 in Azure Credits, for some reason the balance is back to 0, so I can not unlock more credits. Do you know how to solve this?

    Dear @Pablo Montoliu,

Thank you so much for contacting Microsoft Q&A Support.

After thoroughly reviewing your concern, I have identified several potential suggestions you may explore to determine whether you are still eligible to unlock additional credits:

    1. Check Your Azure Subscription Type: If you're using Azure for Students, Azure Free Account, or Visual Studio subscription credits, these often have monthly or annual limits. Once the credits are used up or the time period ends, the balance resets or becomes inactive.
    2. Review Billing and Usage:

Go to the Azure Cost Management + Billing portal and check:

    • Your credit usage history
    • Any alerts or notifications
    • Whether your subscription has expired or been converted to a pay-as-you-go model
    1. Check for Promotions or Expiry: If your credits were part of a promotion, they may have had an expiration date. Check the terms of the offer you received.

If the suggested solutions do not resolve the issue, I recommend that you contact Microsoft Azure Support directly. If all account details appear to be in order but your credits are still unavailable, the support team will be best positioned to investigate further.

When submitting your request, please select "Billing" as the issue type. Kindly note that support for billing-related inquiries is your privacy and typically provided free of charge.

You may initiate a support request by visiting the following link: Home - Microsoft Azure

I hope these solutions can help you to unlock more credits in Azure.

    Wish you a pleasant day!

    Hi Pablo Montoliu,

If your Azure credits from the Founders Hub have reverted to zero, it’s possible that they may have expired. Azure credits are time-bound and must be used within the allotted period. We recommend checking the expiration date associated with your credits to confirm this.

For accounts eligible for $25,000 or more in Azure credits, a review typically takes place 45 days before the expiration date. During this review, additional credits may be granted if the account meets the eligibility criteria. However, if the eligibility requirements are not met, further credits will not be issued.

If your credits have indeed expired, the only way to access additional credits is by advancing to the next level of the Founders Hub program.

Refer to the following doc, Azure Credits and Billing FAQs

Should the issue remain unresolved or if you believe there has been an error, we suggest contacting the Founders Hub support team directly via the official support channels for further assistance.

Please reach out to us if you have any other queries.
