    Hi Akash Nidavani

Thanks for using the Q&A platform.

If you're on a paid subscription Premium/Enterprise and the toggle is not available, or if you want permanent removal of serverless compute:

Open a support request in the Azure Portal:

Go to Help + Support > New Support Request.

    • Choose Databricks as the service.
    • Request to disable serverless SQL warehouses at the tenant or subscription level.

If you are not on a paid subscription, disabling serverless SQL warehouses is not possible via the UI, and contacting support won't help because support is only available for paid tiers. Billing is typically not active in unpaid tiers, but if serverless resources were accidentally activated during a subscription trial, you can upgrade to a paid tier to manage billing settings or disable features like serverless SQL.

    Find additional documentation:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/databricks/admin/sql/serverless
    https://docs.databricks.com/aws/en/admin/sql/serverless?#requirements

    Hello @Akash Nidavani ,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

You can enable or disable Serverless Compute for workflows and Notebooks directly for the select Previews option as shown below. User's image

Note: This experience is only available to workspace and account admins. Account admins can manage Databricks account-level Previews from the Account console.

For more details, refer to Manage Azure Databricks Previews and Enable serverless compute.
