Hello Microsoft Support Community,
I found there are some "cached" email accounts are still listing under Microsoft Edge Browser Profile > Choose an account.
These accounts are old profiles which I signed in before, however I already removed these profiles several times ( there is no signed in profiles now), and also checked Windows Control Panel > User account, no related accounts there.
And I've double checked if these accounts are signed in Office 365 Client, but none of them singed in in my computer. I tried to find them via my computer settings > Work and School accounts, even I tried to check if they are cached from Office registry Identity, however I cannot find them.
May I know how should I remove them? Please advise, any help would be appreciated !
Ps: I am using windows 11 and the latest version of Microsoft Edge !

Hello Greg,
Thanks for your kindly suggestions. However I already tried like remove all old profiles, cleaning the cache via settings, and even I tried uninstall the Microsoft Edge and then reinstall it, however these hate email accounts are always there, I am not sure where these credentials are stored in the local machine or maybe something else.
But I get this problem on different devices, like iPad Edge, Windows Edge, Mac OS Edge, seems all of them have the similar scenarios, and I cannot remove the email accounts after removing the unwanted profiles.
What a pity day with Microsoft Product.
Oliver, that's why I suggested to turn off Edge Sync in your active profile Settings because it may be syncing the old accounts.
I also provided a bunch of other ways than the other ones suggested earlier. Did you try them all yet? Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.
Hello Greg,
I am afraid I cannot turn off Edge sync in active profiles, as there is no active signed in profiles now, I already removed these old profiles from my devices, and some of the accounts even cannot be signed in again due to domain change.
I think with profile removed, data should not be synced between devices, and I just double checked, I don't have active profiles now in any device I owned.
Thanks for your help.
Oliver, If these are domain accounts from organizations, I would ask this question to your System Admin, or at our sister forums for IT Professionals, Q&A forums here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/answers/index....
Microsoft Community is strictly an end-consumer forum. Solutions we give here will conflict with the organization''s Group Policy which we do not use in consumer forums at all. There may be different methods to remove these.
There are also equally good (and sometimes busier) 3rd party IT Pro forums here:
https://www.techrepublic.com/forums/
I hope it helps.
