After about 4 hours on Intuit Tech Support they told me that this is a windows issues.  Does anyone have any suggestions? I heard something abour fixing the registery for Vista, but could not find it on this site. Thanks.

    Hi Creed08

What version of Outlook do you have?    I suspect there is a problem with a recent Microsoft update and Quickbooks based on my experience with this aggravating problem.    You could try backdating as instructed further back, or just removing Outlook and reinstalling from your install media but be sure to turn off updates for Outlook.

Just crashed doing another invoice. :(

So is Quickbooks aware of this situation?  They certainly must be aware of it by now?

office 365 -  would have to do fresh install from Microsoft web site and would be latest version.  I would have to reset computer back a year as that when all this started with quickbooks premier.  Happened slowly, a crash here and there - finally crashed as soon as tried anything.  Now with 2018, random crashes.  Resetting my computer back a year if at all possible is not something I relish doing, losing all the security patches and so much more.  Quickbooks if they cared about their customers would be jumping all over it, they're not.  Ignored until I make a stink and put more time and effort into it.

Thanks for any and all assistance U2

    I understand CREED08 ...

I don't think its a whole year but its worth a try   see #1 page  where it says this:

I found this over at Quickbooks community

    https://community.intuit.com/questions/1599006-com-error-when-sending-email-or-when-i-go-to-preferences-and-choose-the-tab-send-forms-why

It's worked for my friend and a few others here.    Its only setting Office 365 back a version that was known to work - not the entire PC.

It was quite simple to do if you print off the instructions and follow it to the letter.

    good luck

First of all i have been having thus issue since this fall.  I have talked with support numerous time one time 4 hours they thought they had it fix but nope.  So my IT guy installed  free pdf converter that you can email directly using outlook.  I had to take the email preferrence off.  It is a work around until QB decides to fix this issue.  They want us all to go to their crappy online program and before i would do that i will find a different desktop software.  I have the lastest QB program which they promised once i updated it work take of the problem BIG FAT LIE!  Good luck!
