My computer problems turned out to be massive. I finally had to have outside assistance and re-install the operating system. I appreciate all the suggestions and assistance provided here. Thank you all who responded.
Cannot install updates, error code 800706F7
I have 19 critical updates that cannot be processed and I get the error code 800706F7. I have tried the troubleshooter and Fix-it and neither resolved the problem. In addition, I also get from the Windows Activation Tech message that I may not be running Genuine Windows. The activation process has never completed. Also, I have IE 11 installed but cannot access it either. I just receive a fast flash on the page. I don't know if these problems are all related, or not. I have Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit purchased on 10/2011 with everything pre-installed. I have used Mozilla firefox and Avast Internet Security from the beginning. I have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware installed which recently found malware and removed it. I also have CCleaner installed and recently ran it hoping it would help with these problems. Java version 8, update 25 and Adobe Flash Player 15 are also installed. I hope someone can help as I find this very frustrating and am also concerned that I am not receiving the critical updates. Thank you.

2015-03-03T17:02:44+00:00 I'm having the same problem, but I do not have the kb3004394 installed. All updates installed fine before 12/13/14.

2014-12-21T22:49:49+00:00 I did not, but I think the professional assistance probably looked into it. There were many, many updates that were not being installed. So, the problem started before this latest go round.
