Hi I have a HP Spectre laptop and I have had bluetooth on my laptop. Today my microsoft bluetooth mouse stopped working as well as my other bluetooth devices. I have checked and this is the message I get. Now I have had bluetooth on this laptop since I purchased it and have not done anything to the laptop.

"Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

"To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer."

and this:

Device USB\VID_8087&PID_0A2B\5&3a83d6be&0&7 requires further installation."

How can I fix this!!!

    Hi,

I having the same problem with HP Spectre 13 bluetooth mouse problem. Pls fix ASAP.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

I have exactly the same problem with a Lenovo Carbon X1 Yoga and Microsoft Sculpture bluetooth mouse. Took a week of playing around installing drivers, upgrading BIOS etc to find that the laptop keeps losing bluetooth function when coming out of sleep mode.

Has anyone got news of an update or fix for this?

    Thanks.

i just made a call to  HP yesterday and its a know issue after the latest window 10 update on the intel bluetooth driver on these chipset.

    my notebook is

    Product Description: HP Spectre 13-v002tu

    Product Number: W0J15PA

Symptom is when you put to sleep the HP Z5000 mouse does not respond and the Bluetooth on/off button on the WIN 10  Bluetooth menu disappears.  If you reboot  it works for some time and then when you put sleep it looses connection. It was going on for couple of days and i decided called HP support . They remote controlled and tried to do a temp fix. i.e delete the intel bluetooth driver and reinstall from previous version.  No luck .  HP waiting for permanent fix from Microsoft and not ETA.  Its a global issue looks like it

Hope MS  will come with a tested permanent fix soon.!

Just tried, didn't work. Thank you.

The problem is not after restart, it's after sleep mode.

It seems the problem only occurs when laptop is put on sleep. So I now only lock it when I leave my desk (windows-L) and power down instead of closing the lid when on the move. Not ideal.
