iBUYPOWER prebuilt

Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz

Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Edition Windows 10 Home

Version 22H2

OS build 19045.5073

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19060.1000.0

Windows stopped updating error code 0x800703F1

Have tried a system reset which failed.

Then tried to do a clean install from usb but the media creation tool will not recognize the usb because it needs to install drivers which windows can't do at the moment.

Have tried to "upgrade this computer" option from the mct as well.

    @Mostefa Bdirina

    Please do the following:

    • Open the folder "C:\Windows\System32\Config"
    • In the above folder, rename "DRIVERS" to "DRIVERS.OLD"
    • Download DRIVERS (Mostefa Bdirina).zip
    • Unzip and extract the file "DRIVERS" to the desktop.
    • Move "DRIVERS" from your desktop to "C:\Windows\System32\Config".
    • Restart Windows.

    See if you can install updates now.

    The game became accessible to me without any problems, and the Nvidia application became available, and I noticed an improvement in the computer, and all updates went and everything is fine, except for one update, when trying to install it, it reaches 100 percent and then comes wrong

    Do you mean a repair install? That won't work when the registry hive is corrupt.

    @Mostefa Bdirina

    Glad that helped.

    0x80070017 is CRC error caused if some files are corrupt due to file system corruption.

    Share the CBS files.

    c:\windows\logs\cbs\                  <= Zip and upload all files in this folder.

    (or)

    Repair install Windows 10.

    1. Download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool (MCT) from this link:

    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=2265055

    1. Run MCT and accept the license agreement.
    2. Click "Upgrade this PC now". This starts the repair installation.

    Your apps, settings, and files will be kept by default during a repair install/in-place upgrade.
