Question

WSL Windows Subsytem for linux The system cannot find the path specified.

I Was Uninstalled WSL and all distros last week but now I want to install it again please anyone help me I was trying it for last 2 days but it gives me a same error i have enabled wsl in windows feature but why my cmd or powershell can not recognize the WSL command

my OS Windows 11 home 23H2 latest version

manual installation also Not worked for me but at the end I reset my PC by frustration but after that I am able to run WSL --install and have setup my WSL

I'm having all of the same issues and results. Did you ever resolve the problem? It smells to me like a path variable or registry problem. If I go directly to the windows32 directory and execute wsl.exe I get the same error message.

Bro u can also try one more method to resolve this issue

Wsl.msi

Download this msi file and install this is the microsoft official msi file hope this will work for you without resetting your PC 😊

I had WSL installed but was facing issues running WSL commands in PowerShell. I simply ran WSL once, and after that, the commands became recognizable in PowerShell, and everything started working.
