Whenever I attempt to update my Nvidia drivers or even install any Nvidia programs such as GeForce, I get this error and don't know what to do:

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program:

...splayDriver/551.76/Win11_Win10-DCH_64/International/setup.exe

File: f:/dd/vctools/vc7libs/ship/atlmfc/include/atlexcept.h

Line: 95

Expression: false

I have already attempted to delete, repair and reinstall Visual C++ with no success

Hello. I'm actually having almost the exact same problem. Issue occurs when i try to install the latest Nvidia Drivers (has occurred since version 551.76 and now is still happening when attempting to install 551.86. Issue is not isolated to a single user.

Installing C++ x86 and x64 did not resolve the issue.

    Resetting the PC also failed.

Have you tried to install driver using .inf file from device manager.

Which nvidia graphics card you using, model number, manufacturer, desktop or laptop.

Has there been any sure fix on this? I can't update any NVIDIA drivers and seems to be messing with other programs. I have been through all of these steps and nothing seems to work. Even with the ISO file, clicking it just does nothing at all.

    Hey guys,

I'm also having this issue, I've tried the things listed above with the exception of the manual install via .inf as that seems like a workaround and I'd rather have a solution, if possible.

    Here are my specs:

    i9-11900k Windows 11 Home Version 23H2.

Rog Strix z590-E Gaming wifi board
EVGA 3090 Kingpin Nvidia driver version 551.76.

Let me know if you guys figure anything out. Thanks!
