Getting a Microsoft Visual C++ debug assertion error whenever I try to install anything Nvidia related.

Whenever I attempt to update my Nvidia drivers or even install any Nvidia programs such as GeForce, I get this error and don't know what to do:

Debug Assertion Failed!

Program:

...splayDriver/551.76/Win11_Win10-DCH_64/International/setup.exe

File: f:/dd/vctools/vc7libs/ship/atlmfc/include/atlexcept.h

Line: 95

Expression: false

I have already attempted to delete, repair and reinstall Visual C++ with no success

This fixed it as an English (United States) user on Windows 11! Here's what I did.

    1. Open language settings
    2. Add language English (United Kingdom)
    3. Set Windows display language to English (United Kingdom)
    4. Wait for everything to download
    5. Click the "Sign out" button at the top
    6. Sign back in
    7. Open language settings and switch back to English (United States)
    8. Click Sign Out button at top
    9. Sign back in
    10. Try installing Nvidia Drivers

No need to restart. You can remove United States (United Kingdom) language when done.

Quicken was also giving an error 1722 when trying to install. This is now fixed. Java can also now update.

I also used BitDefender, but uninstalled it because I noticed a ton of the text was corrupted in the UI, and some menu options disappeared. I wonder if BitDefender corrupted the language on the system

This also worked for me. I also had bit defender antivirus and it also had the same issue.

    Thank you all!
