No subscription in sandbox

Learning for my DP200 exam, running through the modules. I'm currently working on this module:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/create-azure-storage-account/ On the excercise I have to create a sandbox, then add a storage account to that sandbox. When I access the created sandbox I get an error telling me there's no subscription.
Therefore I can't add a storage account.

I've checked the selected directory and that's correct. Since this excercise has a "check your work" button, I can't continue the module. Please advise.

With the same problem, trying the next suggestions didn't work:

    • Removing cookies
    • Restarting the lab
    • Switching directories
    • Changing my subscription to a paid one to the learn one

The only thing that worked was to OPEN A DIFFERENT LAB, and with that one, it's created the Concierge Subscription. I will suspect it is something about the permissions you get with the other labs.

You can create a Sandbox with a Concierge in this lab:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/es-mx/learn/modules/azure-architecture-fundamentals/exercise-create-website

I was able to use that one for other laboratories.

I hope this gets fixed and we don't have to do this workaround.

I had the same issue when I was doing the exercises in the learning path "Store data in Azure" (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/paths/store-data-in-azure/). Initially, I activated the sandbox (it was the second sandbox for me) in the module "Connect an app to Azure Storage" and everything was working fine. On the following day, I tried to activate the sandbox again for an exercise in the following module "Store application data with Azure Blob storage" and then I had this issue. I believe the second sandbox was already timed out then. I wanted to activate the third sandbox but refreshing the page didn't do that for me. It kept saying the second sandbox was activated but I was still getting the same problem in Azure Cloud Shell.

I resolved the issue going back to the initial exercises in the module "Connect an app to Azure Storage" and I activated the sandbox there, which activated the third sandbox. Then I switched to the latest exercise, and I got rid of the issue.

I am doing some learning that does not have the " activate " sandbox button.
So the workaround, u clear your cookies and cache first. Then you re-log in.

Trigger manual activation of sanbox from this link https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/execute-azure-function-with-triggers/4-create-timer-trigger?pivots=csharp

Once it's activated, then just go back to whatever you are learning and relaunch the azure portal.

    Hope this helps! Cheers!

It says in one of the lessons in learning portal that
"The Azure Sandbox doesn't allow you to create new Azure AD directories."

Hi @Koen van der Pasch ! I just signed out, closed all tabs and signed back in--the sandbox had been applied and could be spotted on the top right.
