I think you did a typo in gpedit.msc, since it does not exist on Windows 10.
Problem with Switching Users on Windows 10.
Hey Community Support,
I recently wanted another desktop of myself so i made a new user in Windows 10. However, when I press CTRL + ALT + DEL and then click on switch user, it just gives me my original account. It shows up on Settings --> Search --> Users.
I tried lusrmgr.msc but it says that this version is not supported by lusrmgr.msc. Go to control panel and search user instead. So how do I switch accounts now.

I apologize that none of the fixes solves the issue. Kindly verify please the edition of WIndows currently installed on PC. Press Windows key + r then type winver . Or open File Explorer then right-click this PC then select properties.
Also another workaround in the switch user issue. Try to create another test account, it can be a Microsoft account or a local account. Then check the switch user option again.
I will also share your case with other community experts. Maybe some else has also a solution that will help fix the issue.
Best regards,
Van

There are two scenarios:
- The new account does not exist. Pressing the Windows key+R, then typing this command will give you a confirmation:
cmd /c net users & pause - Your machine is affected by a bug in a recent update. I have seen a few of these in this forum. Newly created accounts do not show up on the logon screen.
