Can we use different default browser for Microsoft Teams?

Question

OS: Windows 11

I am using Teams for organization/work. I do have my useful login/bookmarks in Edge and so I want to open links from Teams in MS Edge. The rest of the PC should use the default app as configured in the Windows OS setting. It will be very easy for us to managed saved login etc.

In short, the MS Teams desktop app should have an option/setting to set the browser for all links open from there. Without changing the default app for the rest of the windows.

Unfortunately Microsoft "removed" this feature (settings for default browser within the TEAMS settings), so all this advice is not usable anymore.

[So many incorrect or misleading replies! Below is a direct answer to the original question, without the side discussion that wasn't asked about Windows 11.]

1. In MS Teams, go to Settings [from the three dots (...) in the upper-right corner]
2. In Settings, select 'Files and links'
3. Under 'Links open preference', click on the dropdown arrow to the right of 'Always open links in:' and select the different browser you want. If the different browser you want to designate is MS Edge, then select MS Edge if Edge isn't your default browser in Windows, or select 'Default browser' if MS Edge is already set as your default browser in Windows.
