Lost digital office 2016 pro license when computer crashed.

Question

Before my computer crashed, I managed to retrieve some data. My Microsoft office 2016 pro showed as a digital license so I figured I was good. I had acquired it through the HUP program at work. After I reinstalled windows 10 on new hardware, I was unable to get it to recognize my digital license. I used the utility to send the key to my work email but it didnt send. Is there any way to get my license back? I’ve tried every self help method MS has posted and nothing works.

Might try signing on to office.com or the microsoft store.

Hey Hsairi ... probably should have started with YouTube. I still ended up at a dead end but it was certainly easier to understand the how-to part with the videos. Bottom line is that Microsoft doesn't recognize my HUP license.

Home Use Program. Basically, some corporations, like the one I work for, have agreements with Microsoft to let their employees buy Microsoft products at a discounted price. The price I got was fantastic for MS Office Pro 2016. But it was a download license and they seem to have lost track of it. At any rate, I've lost so much time on this at this point that I'm pretty much giving up.
