    ObosleteCube331....thanks for the reply.

For a long while I thought I was dong something wrong.  I spent 2 hours with various Google support staff trying to resolve the issue.   Two Google techs go so frustrated that they couldn't fix it and sent me to a MSFT tech support rep line which essentially hung up the phone each time without answering.

Each Google rep took over the air control of my phone screen trying to resolve the issue.

The 3rd Google rep tried for nearly an hour to fix issue and resolved that there must be something wrong with the Permissions on my Google Pixel and sent me a replacement  Pixel phone!   I spent another two hours transferring apps and files to the new phone for nothing...the exact same problem exists on the new phone!

Glad to see your comments that MSFT has to fix this issue long running issue and may be stalled acknowledging it.

At this time all I can do is delete the MSFT Word/Excel apps to remove the data and use Google apps to replace them:(

There is a "solution" to this problem. Mentioned a few times previously here.

Just clear the Word (or whatever Office application you are using) data. It's done via going to Settings -> Applications -> Word.

This will delete those unwanted files, but it will also reset any settings of this application (including the account information). This will not delete the other files that are stored outside of this application, i.e. somewhere else accessible by any explorer application.

But, as for me, this is not the way it should be.

    =)

If you find another office application that renders heavy documents correctly, please, share it's name with me. As I tried a bunch of them and they all of them had this or that flaw in rendering documents correctly.
