OneNote doesn't sync, error code 80070005

Question

Up until a few days ago there was no problem with OneNote, but now I cannot sync anything.

When I type a note and exit it, when I come back on it, it has disappeared.

In sync status it says 'You don't have permission to edit this file and the sync has stopped. Contact the owner of the file to request approval and then try again.'

I own all of my note files and have never shared them with anyone else, so I do not see what the problem is.

On another note, the other apps on my Windows Phone are all stopping working. I cannot download any new notes apps, as an error comes up every time I access the store. This has been happening for almost a year now.

You may known about this already-- a fix for this issue was released last night on 04/18 for Windows Phone customers. When you open the OneNote app, all your notebooks should be syncing to OneDrive across devices now.

• Any changes made on the device prior to this concern?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

people have tried soft reset and hard reset.  WP8.1 native onenote and office apps just don't sync with the onedrive or open files.

Just to confirm, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling both OneNote and OneDrive?
