Random Disconnections on RDS 2016 - Loads of ESENT errors

hi,

recently I've been having loads of rds disconnections on different servers (but not all) where all the users are disconnected and unable to login, when trying to login via console or mstsc /admin they fail as well (console just refreshes and removed the password from the field over and over) the only thing within the logs I can seem to find is a load (sometimes around 100) ESENT errors with different error numbers 482 is a usual one and the errors seem to say webcachetiles and insufficient resources. kind of run out of ideas with this... anything to do with AV or MRT?

any thoughts/help?

    Hi,

We have similar issues on RDS 2019 farm with Office 2021 standard LTSC version 16.0.14332.20565.

Which Office 2021 version is known to work without RDS issues or is only Office 2019 suitable (and which version exactly)?

Is anyone using fslogix in this thread?

I started seeing this after upgrading to version 2.9.8784.63912

I'm running a Vmware Horizion RDS farm and users are see explorer.exe errors "the instruction at 0x0007ffdf30ed654 referenced memory at 0x0000000053B0000. the required data was not placd in memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc000026e." In event viewer I am seeing ESENT event IDs 482 104 416 492 as well. "taskhostw (161604) WebCacheLocal: An attempt to write to the file "C:\Users\GreenLake07\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WebCache\WebCacheV01.jfm" at offset 0 (0x0000000000000000) for 8192 (0x00002000) bytes failed after 0.000 seconds with system error 21 (0x00000015): "The device is not ready. ". The write operation will fail with error -1022 (0xfffffc02). If this error persists then the file may be damaged and may need to be restored from a previous backup."

like everyone else this appears to be happening randomly to random users. I have been deleting the users profiles and letting fslogix just rebuild a new fresh profile to fix this. Were not running O365 like some have reported downgrading that fixing.

It would be nice to get some details as to what these errors actually mean and what is using this ESENT service.
