Not sure how you're doing this but if you connect an Access database to a SP list, Access won't understand SP's list view filtering. Can you elaborate on what you're trying to accomplish?

It does understand the view filtering.  I've been importing this "All items" View for over a year.

The only VIEW that works now is the "Submitters View".

All items is by default an unfiltered view, so yes that should work. I'm wondering what is set as your default view in SP?

Yes, it is my default view.  Yesterday, I linked the SharePoint List to my database and the All Items view did show up in the database.  Why is the Link option working but not Import? I prefer Import and am concerned that the same issue will appear with Link down the line...........

Not sure - I only link Access/SP lists because I like the 2 way connection. This is probably a question for a forum with a more technical audience like technet.
