Am attempting to upload files to SharePoint of several clients.

Upload begins normally. After 2 - 4 mb of data transferred upload resets to 0 and begins again.

Upload continues normally until half of file is uploaded (eg 21.2mb of 42.4mb file)

Upload stops.

Approx. 5 minutes later error message "error in the application" appears.

Upload stopped.

File is displayed in SharePoint folder, but contains no data.

    Dear Kar,

I strongly not suggest that a new thread will be opened because only the bundle of these requests of similar issues will lead to the fact that someone will take care of our SIMILAR problem.

There has still not been any status update on the issue therefore I suggest that this request should be escalated to find THE root cause.

Thank you very much for your support and further investigation.

    Regards,

    Hilde

I am experiencing the same issue. I was able to upload powerpoint files to our sharepoint in the past. I've made some slight modifications to the file and now cannot upload the new version. When it fails, it replaces the old version with a blank copy. I've tried different networks, different browsers, and even different sharepoint sites. The file uploads fine to onedrive, but I need it on sharepoint to share with my colleagues.

    Dear Shelley,

As what you are experiencing is another issue with a different symptom which is different from the original issue, I kindly suggest you post a new thread on our forum for expert help.

It seems that you can edit and update the files in the local OneDrive sync folder. If yes, you can open the files with the Office application>click on Share to share the files with other people.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Cliff

Just to be clear, I am having the exact same issue with ppt files not uploading to sharepoint. It starts, then fails and shows a blank file. Same error message "Error in the application".

For me it sounds like the same problem. I do not know why every time the suggestion is to open a new thread.

From my point of view this should be used again and again for this kind of problem to make visible how many users are effected.
