Am attempting to upload files to SharePoint of several clients.

Upload begins normally. After 2 - 4 mb of data transferred upload resets to 0 and begins again.

Upload continues normally until half of file is uploaded (eg 21.2mb of 42.4mb file)

Upload stops.

Approx. 5 minutes later error message "error in the application" appears.

Upload stopped.

File is displayed in SharePoint folder, but contains no data.

I found that using the desktop sync option solved this for me. Desktop sync also worked for my colleague that was having the same issue.

    Dear Shelley and HS,

Thanks for your updates and confirming the issues in your environments again.

As you are still experiencing the upload issue in SharePoint Online and the issue may be involved with some logs from your side being further investigated by our related team at their side directly, I kindly suggest you contact the administrators in your organizations and let them open a support ticket to our related team as soon as possible so that they can help you further fix the issues at your sides directly.

Sorry for that our category may have limited resources on further investigating the logs from your sides.

It seems that uploading the files to the local OneDrive sync folders is fine in your environments. I kindly suggest you use the way as a current workaround in your environments and you can open the files with the Office application>click on Share to share the files with other people.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Cliff

    Dear Jonathan,

As similar issues may have different root causes, I'd like you to post a new thread on our forum with the detailed information about the issue symptoms in your environment for our further troubleshooting.

Thanks for your understanding and have a nice day!

    Cliff

    Dear Team,

It is not satisfying that every time the hint is to open a new thread.

You know that only if a thread will get a lot of responses/problems resources will be put in to solve this problem.

    Dear Jonathan,

Please do not open a new thread but use this one to describe the circumstances.

    BR
